When I visited the Israel national blood center, I was impressed with the top technology and measures to keep Israel’s blood supply safe, but also how keeping all Israelis safe by maintaining the country’s blood supply is of such critical importance. Knowing that there’s one blood center for the whole country, and Israeli Jews, Christians, Muslims, Druze and others all benefit, is very powerful. That Israel provides the highest medical care to Syrian and Palestinian Arabs who are not Israeli citizens, as well as African and Asian migrant workers and refugees is truly the fulfillment of Genesis 12:3. Not only are we blessed by blessing Israel, but through Israel, all the nations are being blessed. In Israel, I saw that happening and I am honored to support Heart to Heart Israel as part of God’s promise.
