As an organizer and leader of tour/pilgrim groups to Israel I am constantly asked, “What more can I do to support Israel?”
One of the most gratifying ways for a tourist/pilgrim is to give the “Gift of Life,” a “Pint of Blood” through Heart to Heart Israel. Heart to Heart Israel gives individuals an opportunity to leave a part of them in Israel with the knowledge that the little part of them being left will save and/or change a life. One leaves Israel with a sense of fulfillment and well-being knowing that a lifesaving, life-changing event has taken place. That person returns home knowing they are forever linked to Israel because of their gift. Going to Israel is considered “The Trip of a Lifetime” and those who have donated blood through Heart to Heart Israel, over the years I have been leading tours, have consistently told me that the blood donation portion of the program was the most impactful part of their trip. I can think of no better way for a tour/pilgrim group to bless Israel according to Genesis 12:3 than to actually be part of saving lives, with the gift of life through Heart to Heart Israel.
