Blood saves lives. The life saving power of blood is at the very heart of our faith. Along a similar vein, a clean, safe, pure, uninterrupted blood supply needs to be freely available to save lives both in a time of peace and in a time of crisis in the land of Israel. It is especially urgent in light of the ever-looming threats against Israel from many of their neighbors.
