There is no doubt that over the last three decades a remarkable and positive shift has been taking place in Christian-Jewish relationships. Today, firm partnerships based on true friendship and respect are being established in all areas of social engagement in Israel. This is a miracle most worthy of celebration. Indeed, the Heart to Heart Israel initiative, spearheaded by my friend Jonathan Feldstein, is just such a miracle and should and must be supported by Jews and Christians alike. I am proud to be associated with it.
