On September 11, 2001, the United States suffered a horrendous attack. As we mourned, we were horrified to see dancing in the streets in some parts of the Middle East. But Israel alone cried with us and lowered its flag. Thousands of Israelis lined up to donate blood to help save the victims we could not save in the end. That day, many Americans came to understand what it is like to be an Israeli, to face barbaric terrorism that targets innocents. Heart to Heart Israel lends a clear voice and call to action for those who stand by Israel, standing against those who threaten us, and celebrating everything we have in common. As an American and as a Christian, I am proud to support Heart to Heart Israel, with all my heart.
